假如說想再接一臺2KW的單相電機的話很有可能造成三相不平衡。如果想單獨接單相電用的話可以三根火線中隨便拉一根當作火線。再接一根零線可以當作單相電用。要是想單獨接一相出來用也可以。不過功率是不能太大的設備。那樣容易造成三相不平衡。另外三相柴油發電機還得看多少KW的發電機。小的發電機見意接三相電后。可以接一些照明什么的。不主張再接功率大的電器。

柴油電機組要做到精確接線，首先應辨別接線柱或引出線是相線仍是零線。通常情況下，發電機的各接線柱或引出線都用必然的標記來區別是相線仍是零線。只要加以重視就可進行辨別零線接線柱常常使用字母M或O作標記，也有在接線旁標以接地符號標示的。
