(1)仔細傾聽。如響聲是隨著發動機轉速的升高而增大，抖動節氣門時在加油的瞬間響聲較明顯，這一般是主軸承松曠；如發動機在怠速或低速運轉時響聲較明顯，高速時顯得雜亂，則可能是曲軸彎曲；如在高速時機體有較大振動，機油壓力顯著降低，則一般是主軸承松曠嚴重、燒毀或減磨合金脫落。

(1) Listen carefully. For example, the noise increases with the increase of engine speed. (2)從加機油口處聽診。打開加機油口蓋，從加油處仔細傾聽，同時反復變更發動機轉速進行試驗。如果是主軸承響，可明顯聽到沉重有力的金屬敲擊聲。

(3)用聽診器具聽診。將聽診器或自制的簡易聽診桿，在節氣門開度不斷變換的同時，觸在機體曲軸箱兩側與曲軸軸線齊平的位置上進行聽診，響聲強的部位即為發響的主軸承。

(3) Auscultation with stethoscope. Touch the stethoscope or self-made simple stethoscope rod at the positions of both sides of the crankcase of the engine body flush with the crankshaft axis for stethoscope while the throttle opening is constantly changing. The position with strong sound is the main bearing.

(4)斷火試驗。松開高壓油管接頭，如1缸斷火后響聲明顯減弱，則為道主軸承響；如末缸斷火后響聲明顯減弱，則為后一道主軸承響；如任意相鄰兩缸同時斷火響聲明顯減弱，則為兩缸之間的主軸承響。曲軸軸向竄動所產生的響聲，單缸斷火無變化。

(4) Fire break test. Loosen the high-pressure oil pipe joint. If the noise is obviously reduced after cylinder 1 is disconnected, it is the first main bearing; If the sound of the last cylinder is obviously reduced after the fire is cut off, it is the sound of the last main bearing; If the sound of any two adjacent cylinders breaking fire at the same time is significantly reduced, it is the main bearing sound between the two cylinders. The sound generated by the axial movement of the crankshaft does not change when the single cylinder is cut off.

(5)踩離合器踏板試驗。踩下離合器踏板保持不動，如果響聲減弱或消失，則為曲軸軸向竄動產生的響聲。

(5) Step on the clutch pedal for test. Press the clutch pedal and keep it still. If the noise is reduced or disappears, it is the noise caused by the axial movement of the crankshaft.

(6)焦化機的降速試驗。診斷焦化機主軸承響時，為避開著火敲擊聲的干擾，可采取加大供油拉桿行程后再迅速收回的方法，趁發動機降速之機，如聽到堅實而沉重的“剛、剛、剛”聲，則有可能為主軸承響。同時應打開加機油口蓋，輔之于聽診法和氣缸斷油法，以便于確診。

(6) Speed reduction test of coking machine. When diagnosing the main bearing sound of the coking machine, in order to avoid the interference of the fire knocking sound, the method of increasing the stroke of the oil supply rod and then quickly retracting can be adopted.
